She is very much involved in the different stages of the development of the company. She was able to come up with seven rules for effective partnerships.
• First, she says that you should just get out there. Exert more effort in trying to connect and communicate with your potential partners.
• Second, she says that you should create standards. You should develop your own unique list of criteria which would serve as your guide whenever you are looking for a partner.
• Third, she emphasized that nobody is perfect. Do not feel bad if things do not go as planned. Some of the most amazing things happen unexpectedly.
• Fourth, ask questions and hear out the answers. Make sure to do your research before you meet them.
• Fifth, try your best to be compelling. Focus your attention and interest towards the people you are pitching. Make sure to set a goal whenever you attend an event.
• Sixth, buy them dinner. Treating people dinner is actually one of the best ways for you to be memorable for people.
• Seventh, always celebrate anniversaries. This would make your partners feel that you appreciate and you are grateful for the times that you spent together. It would encourage them to continue your partnerships. Having partners would make things better since you are not doing things alone. You would have someone to rely to. Take it from somebody who has been there and done that.
